The mouth watering smells of barbequed hamburgers and hot dogs will again fill the air at the Alameda County Fairgrounds as CARH hosts it's 31st Annual Summer Picnic on Saturday, June 12th ... This much anticipated event attracts over 800 CARH clients, care providers, families, volunteers and staff from all the counties served by CARH. A full BBQ lunch will be served including ice cream donated by Dreyers. A variety of game booths will be set up in addition to several lawn games which will be manned by local Boys Scout troops. Unforgettable Memories, DJ, David Goulart, will again provide music for everyone to dance to and the Country Western Band "The Strings" will make an appearance as well. As in years past, our impromptu talent show will sure to be a big hit again as it gives our clients an opportunity to perform to appreciative audience.
